Last Day to Apply for Netroots Nation Scholarship

Tonight at midnight is the cutoff to apply for a scholarship to Netroots Nation. Netroots Nation will be in Austin at the convention center July 17th- July 20th.

You can help fund theses scholarships by making a donation and helping bloggers who would not be able to attend come to the Largest Gathering of Bloggers in the world.

Decisions about the scholarships will be based on:

One scholarship will be awarded based on community support alone. You can voice your support for a candidate on their application page.

At least 20 scholarships will be awarded in total. We will base our decisions on application content, active experience, individual need, geographic, gender, age, and ethnic diversity as well as community member support. Our goal is to not just reward the best or those who need it most, but also to expand the progressive movement and bring activists together. The winners will be announced by June 18.
